Independent Elect TN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the independent political movement in Tennessee. Our mission is to endorse and support independent candidates who prioritize Tennessee’s values over party lines, giving voters real choices and meaningful representation. Through community outreach and educational initiatives, we aim to inform the public about the benefits of independent leadership and foster a more inclusive and accountable political landscape across our state. How We Do It
Endorsing Qualified Candidates
Our "Gold Star of Approval" serves as a trusted symbol of our endorsement, giving candidates greater visibility and credibility. Candidates who earn our gold star can display it proudly on their websites, campaign materials, and yard signs, signaling to voters that they are truly independent leaders focused on serving Tennessee, not party interests.
Educating the Public
We educate the public about the importance of moving away from the political duopoly. We achieve this through convocations at colleges and universities. We bring together students, faculty, and community members for engaging discussions. We aim to inspire the next generation of leaders and voters to consider independent options and help create a more inclusive political future.
